![[Powerball Logo]](gifs/pblogo.gif) HOW TO WIN | POWER PLAY | TV DRAWING Powerball gives you nine ways to win! The jackpot starts at $10 million and keeps growing until somebody wins. Just pick five numbers from a field of 49. Then pick your Powerball from a field of 42. It's just $1 per play for a chance to win millions. Players can select a cash option to receive approximately half of the advertised jackpot in cash, rather than 25 annual payments. Jackpot winners can decide how they want their winnings when they claim their prize, rather than in advance as they previously had to do. Odds of winning a cash prize are still approximately 1 in 35 but the lower-tier prize amounts have increased. Odds of winning the jackpot are now approximately 1 in 80 million. Now you also have a chance to multiply your prizes by up to 5 times with the Power Play option. For an extra $1 per play, you're eligible for Power Play. After each Powerball drawing, a Power Play number is randomly selected. If you win a prize on your Powerball ticket (except the jackpot), and you have purchased the Power Play option, you receive the regular prize amount MULTIPLIED by the Power Play number that was selected. For example, if you win $7 on Powerball and have purchased Power Play for that ticket, you'll win $7 multiplied by the Power Play number (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5) which could be up to $35! To play Hot Lotto, you simply pick five numbers from 1 to 39. Then you select one more number from 1 to 19 (the HOT ball). Hot Lotto drawings take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays each week. If you win the jackpot, you can be paid in equal annual payments over 25 years or take the jackpot in one lump sum cash payment. (The cash payment is about half of the estimated annuitized jackpot amount.) For only $1 per play, you have a chance to win at least a $Million. There are also eight other ways to win set cash prize amounts. Approximate overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 16. Odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 11 million.
 HOW TO WIN The new Gopher 5 is Minnesota's own cash lotto game. Winning is as easy as 1-2-3-4-5. Just pick five numbers between 1 and 42. You win by matching three, four or five numbers. And if you match all five, you win a jackpot that starts at $100,000 and grows until someone wins it. The jackpot is paid off with one big check. Now, with the addition of the Bonus Ball, there are even more ways to win and a new $5,000 prize for matching four balls plus the Bonus Ball. In the Bonus Gopher 5 game, you still get five numbers on your ticket. When we do the drawing on Tuesday and Friday night, in addition to drawing five numbers (which you must match to win the jackpot) we draw a sixth number which is called the "Bonus Ball". If four of your numbers match four of the first five numbers drawn, and your fifth number matches the Bonus Ball drawn you win $5,000. If three of your numbers match any three of the first five numbers drawn and one of your other two numbers matches the Bonus Ball drawn you win $100. If two of your numbers match any two of the first five numbers drawn and one of your other three numbers matches the Bonus Ball drawn you win $10. Only $1 per play for a chance at thousands. Approximate odds of winning a cash prize are 1 in 65. Odds of winning the jackpot are approximately 1 in 850,668. Overall prize payout increased from 50 percent to 57 percent.
